Such a nice piece. Is it going on your car?

Kalim...it's too nice to go in your car and be hidden from view. Think you should just keep it out and post a picture of it every day in this thread.

Do that for a year or so, so you'll know if it'll hold up in your car okay first.

Also, I have to say that now that you've created this thread in General, I'm hardly seeing you elsewhere in General...and also suspect that your CA buds are torn between visiting you here in this thread, Socal chat, or in their special place behind your bedroom window.

Have to say, though, that the e30 shots are almost as exciting as the battery centerfolds Delmarco posted...and almost as nice as Griffin's work (wish our fanatic friend from Germany would stop posting dudes though!).

Not sure if it will, so I'll either have to sell it or make adapters.

I was thinking of hanging it on the wall as a piece of art, but I suppose that'll be a reliability test as well. I want to install it, though, so I guess I'll just have to make sure to leave my hood open at meets. That way I won't have an excessive buildup of eye-candy vapor under the hood, which is known to cause CCV clogs, blown expansion tanks, and all sorts of other nastiness.

I lurked quite a bit in General today, but wasn't tempted to leave too many comments. Also noticed you and your favorite member had the usual butting of heads. Don't pay any mind and please don't ban yourself from general for even a week. It would do more harm than good.

Well, thanks again for the kind words. Unfortunately for us, our German fanatic friend has a quirky sense of humor, haha.

When my boys were very young, I remember I had to put one of them in time out for something...and he refused...so I created a great 'judo parent' technique on the spur of the moment and said to him..."Since you're not listening to me about going in time out, I must be a real bad parent and deserve to be punished myself for that, so I'm going in time out myself."

I sat in the hallway...looked real sad...totally confused, my then young skateboarder just sat down next to me to keep me company!

Anyway, he can't control him or herself, but I can control myself...so am seriously thinking about a pre-emptive self ban (though that might be against forum rules and I'd get banned for it!)...

But, I've also had the passing thought of a poll to chose "Me or Him/her"...or a post on why he/she is so messed up...beyond, you know, the likely issues one would have as a transgender...(not a hater, mind you, just not one myself). I'm working on possible titles for said thread, but nothing's lept out yet. Possibly I can spring off all the good work done around here on the 'europlate naming' threads?

Wow, that was pretty clever parenting, haha. Still not sure how the self ban would work, but I am not very experienced when it comes to proving a point to belligerent, possibly transgendered fanatics. So best of luck!

The plate naming threads are a great place to start. So are the showroom thread titles. Definitely some gems in there...

Feia requested that GN get banned?

I'm not going to ask a mod to ban a guy for being a d!ck...though I will as soon as that moves to the line of suggesting stuff dangerous for any reader to do...and know that's why he got banned before.

I know of one time...don't know of others. I heard he's banned from other forums, but don't know as I just live here.

Anyway, just do me a favor, whoever is reading...just keep an eye on his stupidity, and although you know it's stupid, if it's something that a noob/ignorant owner might 'think' is plausible, just correct it...and if it involves something that would risk car's health and/or owner's safety, then report it.

If being a d!ck gets you banned, then I'm afraid we'd/I'd lose lots of laughs from nearly all the OT posts!

Besides, Drew, you know that living as a transgender almost anywhere would be difficult (no, I don't mean you 'know' personally...but if you do...then you do! LOL) and it must be especially difficult to get indy's to work on your car. I suspect that many would do things to make sure you don't come back and make their other customers or mechs feel uncomfortable...things like infecting your car with viruses or sticking nails in your tires...so I do understand how much of what he writes is just pent up frustration from all of that.

But, I'm watching to see when he crosses that line very closely...and would appreciate all the help I (and the others I know also must waste their time on this vigil).

You think he's crossed the line? I can't read everything he writes!

Doug

I have no idea who youre talking about... I think what we have here is a major failure to communicate. I thought you were saying you were going to ban yourself cause you couldnt put up with this character anymore, so I was just pointing out it was possible. Feia303 banned himself... who knows why though

I am quite curious now though to know who your talking about and what they did that was so bad

Also @ you insinuating I might be transgendered
