I had the zhp exhaust and it sounded good but was pretty mellow. This set up is not obnoxiously loud. Has a nice deeper tone and does not sound like a swarm of bees in your exhaust. Above 3k rpm it sounds the best tho. There also is not too much drone in the car, but again I'm running poly motor and trans mounts so I have vibrations which don't bug me anyhow.

I have a 330 zhp which came with the mtec bumpers.
The diffuser is the factory diffuser that it comes with and I cut the passenger side out to accept the exhaust on that side.

I still have to wrap the passenger side pipe with header wrap to keep heat down by the battery box.

Yeah it is close to the battery box, but that's why I'm getting header wrap to wrap the pipe. It'll keep the heat in the pipe and won't effect that area.

I'm in the San Jose area. The guy I go to does excellent work and makes sure it's done right and clean.
I purchased muffler online for 80 the tips are off an 06 corvette 30$ and install 200.
I'm very pleased with the job.

Never had car on dyno but I maybe gained a couple hp. Nothing I can really feel, does seem to have a bit more on the top end. But can't say how much.

Yes, freeing up the restriction and once the DME adapts, you wold think at least 3-5 hp.
You should reset your adaption and then take it for a run on a road that you know.

Anyway, great job.
