WTB: 330i ZHP with folding rear seats - So. Cal
Motivated! My Saab Aero blew a head gasket and my backup CDE sprung a leak in the gas tank last week.
I will consider any color but silver. Other preferences are for low mileage and few modifications. I'm in San Diego. |

Good luck with the purchase. We can always use another member of the ZHP Mafia. |

Nope. Only w/ cold weather or as a standalone option. The first one I test drove had 0 options, and fixed rear seats.

My car does not have CW. From the trunk, I do see a split seat. However, I cannot see where to drop the seats. Therefore, I am assuming that I do not have the fold down seats.

Meh, interesting. I have CW and thought that only gives you the ski pass through???

330i cwp has folding rears and ski bag. Base model had neither. I'd post pics but the car is back east and I'm in Seattle for the week.

I definitely don't have the ski pass through. And I doubt I have the fold down seats. I couldn't see any latches where I would lower the seat.

My research showed that fold down seats are in the CWP but could be had as an option on it's own (no ski pass through). Now I'm curious though - if you have a split visible in the trunk, then I would think that would indicate that they can be folded down.
There is a nice red one for sale on this site but it's in Maryland. I'm tempted, but I've been stung before buying a car from a distance. |

For Maryland, I would want to be damn sure. That's a long trip. I agree on the split in my seats. I'll be taking a close look tomorrow. |

So I do have rear fold-down seats. I am looking at my window sticker that was on the car when it was new. It's listed under the "comfort and convenience features."
It's listed as a standard feature. |

And I confirmed today with a visual inspection. I do have rear fold down seats.
Because the factory window sticker does show this as a standard feature, I think that all of the coupes did have fold down seats. Ditto for the cold-weather package cars. |

Bump!
So I bought an E36 M3 couple last year because I couldn't find a 330i ZHP with folding seats. Best car I've ever owned, but I need 4 doors. I fixed the head gasket on the Saab, but now it has thrown a rod. So I'm back in the market for a 330i ZHP with folding rear seats. Prefer 5-sp and not silver. |
