CEL code question

i have a 00' 328i with 125000 miles. just bought the car and the previous owner had just brought the car to BMW and had the thermostat housing and valve cover gasket changed out. the Check engine light has been on since purchased. i clear the code and itll last for about 10 miles then come back on.

those are the codes i keep getting. when i do a search i always find people having problems with the oil separator hose being broke or a hole in the intake after the maf. ive checked all of my hoses and tubing and they are all ok. cleaned my maf also. also hear of people having a valve cover seating issue. i didnt pull mine off but i looked completely around it and there is no seepage of oil anywhere. also heard of people having a problem with hearing a noise coming out the oil filler cap. im not having any of these problems. anyone have some suggestions on what else i can check.

A quick search here for P1188 and P1189 returns this thread. May help you solve your problem.
One replay says a MAF fixed it.
The original poster ended up replacing the Fuel pump to correct his issue.

You could measure your fuel pressure and fuel delivery volume following the procedure in the Bentley manual.

If the pressure/volume is too low, the fuel filter would be the first thing I would replace.
Retest pressure/volume and if still too low, replace the fuel pump.
