This city is full of band wagon jumping transplanted college kid fans who know sh*t about baseball. And why are the Yankees losing, because there starting pitching blows right now, worse than it did down the stretch in the regular season, their bullpen which was one of their strongest points is garbage, and they can't hot with runners on base. But you win some and lose some, the way they finished the season I knew they wouldn't do much in the playoffs, I haven't given up on them but with the way they are playng winning 3 straight doesnt look good, especially with Tex down.

While I agree with you that every team/city has their own... I will disagree and state that the percentage of actual red sox fans compared to the bandwagon fans BLOW away the yankees.... there are many red sox fans across the country and i find it surprising that they are straight up REAL fans... this isn't a dig to yankee fans... but unfortunately for the yanks... majority of their "fans" are worldwide bandwagoners oh and have you been to any of there games before? i went to several this year and not once were people leaving early, regardless of the score... it is a shame that the fans left during the ALCS... reg season i could understand, late game during the week, understandable... but the ALCS... come on now, this wouldn't have been the first time we saw the yanks come back from farrrrrrrr behind in the last 3 innings... anyways as a disclaimer... i am not intending this to be a pissing match between the red sox and yankees fans... boston is home of the most ignorant loud rude drunk ass holes i have ever seen in my life.... at times i would trade that for a stadium full of bandwagons in a heartbeat |

Baseball is like Golf. Boring as hell to watch and follow, but actually fun to play.
I'll take Football, Basketball, and Hockey any day of the week over watching paint dry... I mean Baseball. |

The Yankees have been sliding into a crappy team since at least a month or so before the end of the season. Their sweep in the first round was an anomaly. That being said, I am always shocked at the number of people that make careers or hobbies out of hating the Yankees. The Yankees are good for baseball. They funnel money directly to every little POS team in the small markets. Is it the fault of the Yankees that the owners of those teams pocket the money instead of improving their own teams? No.
Blame your own crappy teams, Yankees have been nothing but class acts for years. As for the "they bought their team" excuse, go look at the Mets and see how far that gets you.

Japan has some of the best players in the world starting when they are young, but most of the guys on here i imagine arent FOB, and their families have been here for awhile.

if you think baseball is boring to watch you just dont understand the game...and thats fine, but it's not just some guy trying to huck a pitch up there and hope it's a strike...there's a science to pitching and hitting in certain counts.
you wouldn't understand, it's a baseball thing |
