WTB: Trunk Lid Grip for e46 Coupe

Hey guys, the stupid plastic clips holding the torx screws to the grip handle broke and now this part does not hold as well to the trunk as it should.

I have a Steel Blue 325ci e46, so if anyone has this part painted please let me know. Primed, unprimed, other painted colors are fine, just let me know please. Thanks

I had the same thing happened, try to find it on ebay, should be around $40-$60. Just make sure it is the right part, the first one I bought wont fit

make sure you get the right one -- i think the facelift coupe has a different one

For $60 you can get one from bmwmercedesparts.com brand new, albeit probably unpainted.

I'm looking for one too. The plastic part that provides the anchor for the T-20 bolt just crumbled when I took it out the handle today. The other ones were all cracked but was still intact so I reinforced it with super glue. I was not able to get to that one that fell apart though so I am looking for one too.

Does anyone know if the painted part separates from the black backing? It looks like it does but I didn't want to destroy it trying to pry it apart.
