angel eyes on Xi
Alright so I know its a common topic and yes i haveen plenty of DIY for these but I was wondering if anyone had installed Angel Eyes themselves on an Xi. Seeing as i wanted to wire it to the glove box for key start but my ABS system seems to be in the way for mounting the box. Any ideas? a DIY would be preferred but ill take info as well

i followed this walkthrough...
but for steps 13 and 14 where they mounted the box onto the bolt, since i have the abs, i just cleaned the bay and used double sided sticky tape and taped it right under but as far as intalling this tutorial is 100% correct regardless if it is the ccfl or led

REALLLY FAR lol im in north jerseyclose to newark. Just do it yourself its really not that hard, when i installed mine i used this as a reference...
Angel Eye install DIY Couple tips: When removing the black headlight trim inside, be careful takin it out its somewhat fragile. When splicing into the wires with the crimp splice thing.. position the wires inside the crimp splice thing then close it and use some pliers to splice thru.. then close the cap on it. make sure you actually cut through the plastic part of the wire sometimes it doesnt go thru and it doesnt get a solid connection... When you GROUND it make sure you ground it to the actual ground of the car...not where it says in that diy...

the crimp has a flap to close after youve spliced. ive attached an image so you get a better idea how to do it.. And theres only one wire in the ecu that looks exactly like the one in the picture.. for the glove compartment just route the wire thru the existing whole in the drugbin thing and splice into the footwell light... theres only two wires... a brown one and a whiteone i think, if its not white its red... thats the wire you want to splice into...

The firewall seperates the passenger compartment from the engine compartment.

You may want to have a friend help you with the install. Someone who has done an install previously would be ideal.
