<et> The teal frankenstein

Haven't posted a showroom thread in a good while, and just picked up a Canon 5d mkII (fcuking drool status) replacing my discontinued Sony a100 (was getting so disappointed with its performance). Still gotta get used to how this camera works, but I'm loving it so far. I'm rocking the 24-70 f/2.8 lens let me know what you guys think.

Not really sure what's gonna happen to this car...not sure if much more modding is gonna happen. I may just save up for the next ride, so who knows..!

And yea the teal is a love hate thing. If you hate it, it happens. It's just spray paint and it's def temp.

Rear fitment oOOOOooooo...lol

Just put these M3 seats in...so amazing compared to my premium seats.

Still rocking the perforated red alcantara door cards

I love everything except the exhaust tips. I am not sure but it looks super rice to have the turned up tips. But thats an opinion. you have a beautiful car.

I hate teal but you pull it off really well.

I also agree that you should switch to some nice straight and wide exhaust tips like Remus or Dinan's style.

One more thing though, on the exterior I think that when viewed from the rear quarter (your sig pic) the red in the taillights interferes greatly with the color of the wheels and the overall theme of the car. Although I hate taillight tints I think they are a bit necessary in your ride to subdue the red a bit and let the teal and black contrast each other harmoniously. Maybe even heavily smoked/straight murdered tails? I mean you got the smoked corners and grills going in the front, the back just breaks the colors up a little too suddenly. The darker taillights would complete the exterior IMO. But man that is one sick xi regardless

I think your car pulls off the teal perfect Ryan. Talk about stepping up your camera game. You know how much I want that Sony though Ryan! LOL Can't wait to see more shots with that Mark II

I don't really have a problem with the exhaust, it's a rare eisenmann meisterschaft edition. I do agree that straight tips would probably look better, but it's so run-of-the-mill. I have had the idea to cut the tips off and have them turn down though. I think that'd be pretty sick lol...but yea I had tinted tails before and got pulled over for them I've always wanted to redo them, but dunno how much it's worth.
