need a new maf airflow?

so i installed my dinan cai and i was at a carshow and a guy asked me to pop my hood. he noticed i was still using my stock maf and he said i needed an aftermarket one to get full gains from the intake. dunno if this is true or false. what are your guys opinions?
and if i do need an aftermarket one, where can i buy one?

Did this guy drive a Honda???

I have never heard of such a thing except for E36 M3s, where you can get a EURO(larger diameter) MAF for them.

Do some research on how a MAF works please. The only time a bigger MAF helps is when running high levels of FI. a smaller MAF will restrict air in high boost cars. But if u like spending money on BS I have a wireless engine flash kit. $250 shipped.
