The reason I have not responded and you're still holding onto it is because that is the filthiest 600mile engine anyone has ever seen. On top of the corrosion taking place on the aluminum and steel damper, it has an M50 intake and M50 fuel rail. It's just odd to see a 600mile engine, not even past break-in, so messy and modded.

Like I stated before, you've done a poor job describing this engine. You still need compression, leakdown, picture resolutions that match the year 2010 to name a few. Clean the damn thing too... my god, you're asking a lot for what's shown.

Don't get nice and then mistake my silence after seeing what you had to offer as a way to call me out. I kept quiet because I didn't want to hear anymore crap if I had expressed my shock of the condition. Now I read that...

I think Good luck sums up this thread pretty well. Lots of it.

LOL your worried about an m50 intake i used to start the motor when you already stated you didn't want the intake, fuel rail, etc. I think you're a crate motor kind of guy. Corrosion? Dirty? get real. The car obviously sat with a smashed in hood and nose for almost 5 years. You asked if i would sell just the motor and i said yes. asked for pics. got them. Make a cash offer and i'll perform a compression and leak down test ON VIDEO.

680 miles or not. a US s52b32 is not worth 5k. the zf tranny with those miles is like 400 bucks. wiring harness is a dime a dozen. 5k is insane man im sorry. thats s54 6 speed territory. sorry.

your price is nuts, but so is the fact it has under 700 miles on it, but any engine - even a new one that has sat for 5 years can be a bit scary.

GLWS

however you should note that Samir was selling a BUILT m54 head and block for 2.5K. so you may be asking a big much, also I hope you are on other forums like bf.c where there are more pepole interested in swapping that motor. like you said e46 are better off with s54 and since impressive will do the tranny/engine swap with labor for 6.5K you are not in the right environment.

plus what a waste to put that in an e46. that motor needs to be in an e30

arguing with prospective buyers and making your self look like a douche will not help you sale at all.

That is corrosion from the climate, not fire damage.
