Wheel size question, 330xi

I've done a quick search, but I'm at work so any help is greatly appreciated. My wife has a '05 330xi with 17x7 on it. I want to put on a set of winter rims/tires. My question is, can I use the 16' wheels from say an 03 325xi. What size should I be looking at?

No, in general 16" rims won't fit over the 330xi's brakes. Gotta go with 17" or more. There are a couple that apparently do fit, but I wouldn't chance it.

Rule of thumb is that OEM 16" wheels don't fit unfortunately. I've got 16" M-contour reps that fit, but just barely.

Yup, there are a few 16" wheels that will clear, but a majority will not. I'd just go with some OEM 17's.

If you look on TireRack.com they have a Wheel/Tire Package listed for it - the wheel is the only 16" that I've heard of that will clear the bigger 330 brakes. I plan to order one of the 16" Wheel/Tire packages because I like to run a size smaller in the winter, and the wheels are only $89/wheel.

I wish they sold the Gislaved or Nokian snow tires.

Does anyone know if the wheels from a 2011 335I xdrive will fit on my 03 325xi?? Hope so, my friend just got the 335I and offered the wheels and tires to me for $500!!!!!!!!
