Alpina B7 Thoughts?

What are your guys thoughts on the e66 Alpina B7 (2008)? It's the supercharged v8, buy it or don't buy it?

This is it....

Agreed! Maybe some matte black 20's to go with it? I'm still deciding I'll keep this thread updated. If I buy it, it'll be this weekend.

It's a badass car. Fastest E66 since BMW never made an M7.

I love it, except the huge wheels, for some reason, i dont think they fit right. Maybe go down one size and add some more rubber.

Sick, beautiful, awesome. My father looked at buying one... They are the same price as a CPO 750... But they will not offer the CPO warranty on the B7... that's what ended up killing it for my father.

The Alpina wheels that come on it are 21" btw... I wouldn't change a damn thing... and if youve never driven a 750... they get up and goooo, I wanted to test drive one of those Alpinas so bad

It's being sold for such an amazing price, i've seen it in person and there isn't one scratch or anything. It looks brand new!

I think the wheels are great like that man! Alpina classics! Some guy at my school had an e38 Alpina, then bought the e66 one when it came out, then the facelift e66, and just recently bought the F01 right after it came out, F01 wheels are craaazy, similar to the Porsche 997 wheels actually. I was like omg...

The car is GORGEOUS! Would take it in a minute it, especially with those wheels. I agree though, those tires are pretty thin especially considering they're on a 7.

Because it's a perfect balance of performance and luxury. You can pack four-five people comfortably in the beast and still stomp someone on the highway. You've got a huge cabin, leather, chrome and raw power, who'd say no to that? My only taste of this so far was a '92 Infiniti Q45 ; a bit laggy off the line but it was an awesome car (not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as the Bimmers though.)

I know it sucks to see a car loose value but...I love how cheap 7s get after 10-ish years even when their technology is still relevant. I'd love to snag a 20XX model a in a few years to toy around with.
