Silver E46 cabrio hardtop FS I95/Raleigh NC area

I have a silver (sorry, not sure of factory color name) OEM BMW hardtop for all E46 convertibles. The top is in good shape EXCEPT the rear glass is broken out of it (happened when the top was in storage).

Includes roll-around storage rack + cover for the top (cover has a good size rip in it, but still works OK to keep the top clean).

A quick check of realoem.com shows that the rear glass retails for around $350 at your friendly local BMW dealership- I'm sure you could buy it for less if you shop around.

I really don't want to mess with trying to crate and ship this top, so for now I'll say local pickup only. I live about 30 minutes SE of Raleigh NC, and only about 15-20 minutes from I-95 near Benson NC (in case you happen to be driving thru and want to stop and pick up a hardtop)....

I'll take $750 for the top, cover and cart. Will not separate these items unless buyers can coordinate who wants what and they all go at the same time.

Thanks!!!

I'm in Charlotte and I'm interested. Does it include the installation kit?

No install kit included, just the top (needing rear window), the stand/cart and the cover (torn). Not 100% sure what's included in the install kit anyway, but the top does have the locating pins and other hardware needed to attach it to the car, whatever hardware is normally attached to the top is included.

Hope this helps.

I'll try to get some up later today.

It looks like the silver on the car in your sig, but it's got the shiny trim (not the blacked-out trim).

Not really any scratches to speak of, but there are 2 small paint chips on the edge at the rear, could easily be touched up with a small paint stick and not even be noticeable. The only other imperfection I know of is a small indentation in the headliner, looks like the tip of a ballpoint pen or something similar got poked into it.

Bump.

Lots of interest, but no one has come up with the $$ yet.

Don't *need* to sell this, but would really like to see it go to a good home, and get out of my garage.

The glass is the deal killer Ringmaster. Cost of replacement is quite high (glass and labor at least $500), otherwise I would have sent you the $ already.

Umm, no, I edited the original post with the new price, to avoid confusion.
