Cool WTT my CF hood + $ for stock or M3

Just like it says. I want to go back to the stock look.

Hood comes with $150 paint credit at Impressive. Call Leo for details.

The hood needs to be re-cleared. The clear was very bad quality and is clouded and yellow.

I'm looking to get a stock silver grey facelift or M3 hood + cash.

PM me.

I got the SS reps from Bimmerbrakes in the stainless form. The sound with completely stock exhaust is unreal. Throaty and deep from 1-3k, quiet at cruising revs (2.5-4k) and loud and raspy at 4k+. Of course WOT at any rev sounds amazing as hell. I didnt think it would sound much better, but it does.

The only thing I wasnt ready fro was how much the car smells like burning gas without cats. You cant idle for more than 5 minutes because youll start to choke yourself.

You have no clue. I personally dont mind the smell too bad because I grew up smelling that **** because all of my dads racecars never had cats so they always stunk, but after a few minutes its pretty bad haha.

feel free to PM me if you have any more questions. Sorry for the threadjack Chrissy

header's aren't that bad. u mostly smell it at lights. I've been catless for over 3 years.

Curious how much you paid for install. Cause my buddy and I can do the work fairly priced at my garage.

Also not sure if you are interested but I have a stock alpine white M3 hood with some damage at by the gills (any body shop that will paint it can probably bang it out to be straight) Otherwise the hood is perfect. I'll sell it for $150.

She needs a stock silver grey facelift hood plus some money, to trade for her CF hood.
Disregard the M3 hoods because they will not fit your car properly Chrissy.

Lets keep it simple,
If anyone is interested PM

Exposed CF is lame and was cool in the 90s. Plus our hoods are made of aluminum (same for non m?) the weight savings is so minimal. Unless you have a BMW motorsports hood that goes for like 3k and weighs 3 pounds.
