My Ride: Bmw e46 323ci
Rear shocks

Hi guys,would like your opinion on which brand of rear shocks I can buy.I just put my car back to standard height and replaced struts, springs, control arms and bushes.im not after high end market shocks, just mid range.the cars a daily driver and i'm going for comfort.

I checked the eibach shocks out and they are a little pricey.something mid range would be good.

sachs boge - go OEM and they are not that pricy - or bilstien HD.

Yeh the bilstein have a good rap.I saw some shocks called stagg but the price is to cheap.

i am in the US but we do not have stagg shocks. sounds cheap as hell. one thing to remember you want the same shocks front and back to match rates. so if you have oem up front I would go with that in the rear.

I have bilstein strutts but I'm not sure if they are sport etc.ok thanks I will find out which ones they are and get the same for the rear.thankyou everyone.

If your looking for a stock ride height and ride quality then Bilstens are the way to go as mentioned above.

All depends on what struts are up front! Don't mix Bilstein sports in back with OEM struts in front.

If you have OEM front struts, your choice should be Touring for the rear. Mixing Bilstein HD or sports will be a problem!
