Pulleys - 4 rib vs 5 rib

I noticed that the cranks shaft pulley from my engine swap has 4 ribs while my AC condensor pulley has 5 ribs.

Would I be able to use an AC belt with 4 ribs because my crankshaft pulley only has 4?

I figure the best option is to make sure I have both 5 rib pulleys or 4.

Would my engine balance be thrown off if I used a 4 rib pulley?

The change was somewhere between 2002, when I did my engine swap, the new engine (Oct. 2003) came with the 4-rib AC pulley, which I had to swap with the 5-rib from the old engine. Obviously it was impossible to run 5 rib belt on a 4 rib pulley, it destroyed the belt in no time. I think, running a 4-rib belt on a 5rib pulley will most likely throw the belt off.

4 rib for your pleasure.
5 rib for hers.

I don't know hwow much it matters but:
The 4 rib (newer )crank pulley/harmonic damper does have a label on it that describes a wider damping frequency range than the 5 rib (older one) one. Can't remember the numbers but they're in a recent ATI SuperDamper thread I think.

Thanks - I'll look to swap out the 5 rib AC pulley for a 4 rib one.
