If anyone has seen otherwise please chime in but I don't think KW v1 to v2 will do anything for you whatsoever. AFAIK v1's are just like v2's except with fixed settings for performance street use. Even if you were leaning more toward the track, I doubt you'll be able to make meaningful adjustments on v2's without your bushings in good shape anyhow

The differences between the two are mainly in the two is that v2 introduces rebound adjustment, and the v2 has Koni shock body and v1 uses a different one whose name I can't think of ATM. KW shouldn't be considered a performance suspension, or anything impressive.

Seriously, why waste $600 to covert KWs to a linear spring when, at that point, you can just buy a much better damper with linear springs for about the same price? I was going to do something similar with my PSSs but I came to my senses before I started.

Why so much KW hate going on? I'm no KW fanboy but these things are OE spec on some pretty major players. ESS tuning specs the V3's on their blown M3's, and MKB tuning specs them to their 1000+ HP SL65AMG Black series. Just saying...

It all comes down to suspension usage. KW's (V classes in particular) are great coilovers for street use and maybe novice driving events. For serious track events in addition to street use, there are way better coilovers available such AST's or Motons, etc but comes with a price, however as mentioned above, all other components such as bushings, etc has to addressed as well. Understand the difference between linear vs progressive and spring rates. Everyone will have opinions on a "proper" suspension setup but it all depends what it's purpose and your driving skills on the track. A $10k suspension is nothing with an inadequate driver. In F1 or motorsport racing, their suspension setups are close guarded secrets and battle it out on the track.

Who's hating? I just simply said spending another $600 to convert a KW V1/2/3 to a linear rate spring seems like kind of expensive compared to other suspension options.

And just because a certain tuner uses a certain product doesn't mean its the best thing since sliced bread either. Could be marketed better than other brands. Maybe the tuners/manufacturers specify custom valving/springs, etc. But who knows until you try it.

Yeah, and it's not a very good damper setup anyways. Dodge still cut corners on costs. If they wanted really great dampers they would have supplied the ACR with Ohlins. KW is overrated.
