What do you think?

What do you guys think about a 2003 330xi with Dinan throttle body, Dinan high flow cai, and Dinan free flow exhaust with Dinan stage 3 software.

DISA is probably bad.

Your question is incredibly vague. Don't expect much without giving more information and asking more pointed questions.

The best part of the system is that they make it specifically for the BMW and is supported through your dealer. I only have the CAI and stage II software and very happy with the results. If you are considering buying the car with all those goodies and the rest of the car is in good order and the price is right I think you'll be pleased. If you are considering adding all that to your car you have to consider the HP/TQ gain for the cost. As most on this board will tell you the increase is minimal per component and moderate at best with all you have listed. You'll have to check with Dinan or your dealer Dinan specialist to find out exactly what gain you'll get but ask yourself: Will I really get good bang for my buck? If you are tracking the car and every little bit helps then you'll get more bang but, as you probably know, it ain't cheap. Hope it helps.

If you have spent any time looking at this site you have likely seen that these cars cost a few bucks to maintain. Lots-o-bells & whistles = lots-o-stuff that can and will go wrong. Do yourself a favor and take the car to a qualified BMW mechanic to have it inspected. I'd pay a couple hours labor to test everything reasonable. Could be the best money you've ever spent on a car. You'll walk away with either piece of mind or knowledge that you shouldn't buy the car. If you don't know a trusted BMW mechanic ask the board. You need someone who knows the E46. Don't trust a buddy or a general mechanic. Too much at risk.

Depending on the mileage, how well the car was maintained and cared for, you might have something good. Since you had BMW's in the past you should know what to look for. Good luck!
