This really was one of our favorite builds of the year, it's great to see the positive reaction people have to this car, and the great photos that keep coming out.
We loved building it, and I'm glad you love driving it!

Car is beautiful, by the looks of it you daily drive it, I know that over time water and washing a matte finish can cause it to become shiny in spots, how long are you expecting the true matte finish to hold out? I've been highly considering a matte respray when the time comes but I can't justify spending the money on a paint job that's going to last me 3 months.. any help would be appreciated!

again, your car is amazing

I guess it can be. With this new paint job anything related to temperature and/or weather can be a pun. I've heard so many already as you could imagine.

Thanks, yeah she's daily'd and babied. Im just gonna keep doing what Ive been doing. Ive always been delicate w the car as far as washing goes. Im expecting this to hold out well. Someone at the body shop who did my car has a 996 TT in flat silver and he lets his 10yo son wash the car for him. He's had the paint for awhile w no problems so Im expecting the same.

Matt, I've always been curious. I remember reading some stuff about the frozen grey being little tricky to wash. What sort of complications would this sort of paintjob bring if I had got it done in the future? Is it difficult to wash? Is different chemicals and materials needed to wash it? Im confused

Yea, got have had some pretty nasty weather up here. Just last night we got blasted again with some more heavy snow. Unfortunately for me though, I'm still on summer tires, so I haven't been able to enjoy it

Sorry about this weekend bud. I meant to call you saturday, but some crazy shit went down with my godchild. I'll tell you about that next time, but I completely forgot to call you back so that's my fault.
