Drag Link job at Impressive S54 2003 M3
So finally I took my friend to Impressive. He delayed his inspection 2, for too long. It cost him drag levers replacement along with the head gasket. John advised him to send the head to the machine shop to get it resurfaced and cleaned up. Now my friend's car is running like brand new. Unfortunately my friend is not a member of this forum, but I think we should all heed his case. If your inspection 2 is due, don't delay.
Big thanks to John for taking care of my friend. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Im guessing its a delayed valve adjustment that caused that.

What was his symptom? Was he having issue with the car or he just needed to get inspection 2 done and then needed a new head gasket?

Dont see the correlation between a delayed valve adjustment and head gasket failure.

M3's do not have drag links? I am fairly certain its only on trucks. they have tie rods just like a regular e46
![]() and late valvve adjustemnt doesnt mean a new headgasket and would now cause you to need to refinish the head. something else is up.
