Sunglasses Compartment

guys, do you think this eq ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3290 ) fits in the sunglasses compartment?

Pmmeke, doesn't that $600 EQ only work with an Alpine DVD HU? Isn't that just a remote faceplate like Delirium mentioned?

Ken330i is looking for something that will work with the stock HU.

Keep in mind that while a remote faceplate may fit in there I really don't think a 1/2 din EQ will depth wise. The only signal processor/EQ I've seen with a remote faceplate that works with any HU is big $$$$. As in, over a grand.

If the alpine EQ only works with an Alpine HU, as I suspect, then you're seriously misleading him. If I'm wrong, all the better. I would love a solution that fits in there w/o changing the stock HU.

I think the alpine dolby processors works with other to but then you dont connect it with ainet and fyber optic cables to the head unit. Let me look if i can confirm that...

Says it is 4.5" deep, so I doubt it.

You guys who insist on using an eq with the HK HU should look into relocating the AC controls to the sunglass compartment space and putting the EQ directly under the HU. I know this has been done, so maybe you could fashion some sort of trim plate for it.

yea, i think the ac unit slot is deeper because it's sticking outer than the glasses compartment slot. but, you never know. lets hope someone can confirm this for us. man, i need to install an eq so badly.
