Style 68 wheel off set

I have a 2001 330i with the non staggered turbine wheels and want to switch to style 68 8.5 and 7.5 wheels. Vendors are asking what off set I need and that these came multiple ways. What am I looking for. I want to run stock sized tires.

First, don't just jump in, spend a few nights on E46Fanatics & do a little research on this subject.

Next, determine if you want a "Square" setup, or a staggered setup. I'd recommend square for several reasons, then you'd have to decide if you wanted a square 7.5" or square 8.5" setup. Oh, don't worry about offset on a BMW M68 wheel, there will be NO issues.

I do a number of track days and want a quality wheel that is understated. I just don't like the turbines. I like the benifits of a square set up. Do I run the 245s all the way around if I have 8.5s
