335xi motor swap?
Would a 335xi motor and tranny fit in a 2001 e46 330xi car?

throw an ls2 motor out of a trailblazer SS into it...it has the same hole in the oil pan for the AWD LOL here is a pic.
 probably just as much work and way more power |

You would also need to swap over that whole drivetrain. Doubt the e46 axles would fit the e90 tranny/diffs. Just be happy you have a better looking car

I've seen an E30 with a S85 in it. So anything's possible, but not if you're wallet isn't big enough.
