FS: CSL Center Console (Vorsteiner)

Hi guys.

I'm selling my Vorsteiner CSL center console. I had it ordered in 1x1 (aka. plain, aka oem) weave.

It is not perfect but the imperfections are not noticeable when installed. You will see the imperfections in the pictures.

First, in the storage compartment, I have drilled a hole so that you can slip an iPod/Phone cable through it and connect your iPod/Phone (via the headphone jack). Your iPod/Phone will then slip into the compartment and lay flat for a perfect fit. Looks really sweet.

The second imperfection is that there are two very small holes drilled into the back part of the console. They are very small and can be plugged very cleanly with some black rubber plugs, and, in any event, are not really noticeable at all.

Third, there are a couple of stress cracks in the piece. On the top left and right side there are some very very very light cracks. Then, on the bottom on the e-brake cut-out (in one of the corners), there are a couple of others. This problem is very common with the Vorsteiner CSL console and really isn't noticeable when installed. I am told these cracks are just the clear coat - some sanding and a new layer of clear would take care of the issue.

This product is no longer available on the market as Vorsteiner has discontinued it. Almost all of the consoles produced by Vorsteiner were in the 2x2 weave - this one is 1x1. Further, this also has a cut-out for the mirror button retrofit. If you do not wish to retrofit the button, you can buy an OEM plug (similar to the one that comes over your passenger-side door armrest) to plug up the hole. This looks cleaner than the "delete" model that Vorsteiner sold with that ugly recession in it. For all those reasons I'm asking for $350 firm. Many of these have been going for $400-$450 (see M3Forum). However, because of the light imperfections, I'm only asking $350. Keep in mind that this console can be brought back to new with some clear (and the person clearing it could even fill in the tiny holes in the back that I have added, making them unidentifiable). All that would cost you less than what you would otherwise pay and you'd have a new, clear coat finish to boot.

(bezels included but buttons not)

Thanks for lookin'

Whoops - forgot to take a picture of it. Yes, the leather, OEM (CSL-Specific) e-brake boot comes with it for an extra $50 (it's like $100 brand new). The boot is in 100% perfect condition.
