Having a bad day with UUC

So my M3 needs a new clutch. On the advice of a friend I purchased it from UUC. When I talked to UUC (who seemed very nice) I was told it would take about 3-5 days to receive my clutch, oh and a stainless steel clutch line and trans mount set. Well that was a week ago. I called to see why the clutch kit was still showing that it hadn't been processed and I was told that it takes 3-5 days to get processed before it gets shipped out. Just a tad bit different than 3-5 days to get it to me. To add insult to injury, I did get a box that was suppose to be my clutch line and transmission mount complete set (black). It was the clutch line (good thing) but all I got was the mount enforcers (bad thing). Gonna call tomorrow to see what the deal is, but I don't see how these guys are sooo highly recommended, maybe it's my bad luck. Looks like I get to go yet another week with my car at the mechanics instead of driving it. More to follow.

A lot of people have had negative experiences. If you read the forums you'll read plenty of negative stories. Which is why a lot of people (including me) won't buy UUC.

From most of what I've read the Stg 1 is a good clutch. That being said, I've heard good and bad about the few kits I researched (ex. clutchmasters, ACT and sachs). I picked UUC because my buddy with a 330i really likes his. I can't say the clutch kit is bad, since I haven't gotten it yet. When I do get it, I'll post more.
