What do I need for Satellite Radio??

I currently have a BMW sirius tuner in by 2005 330xi. The tuner recently died and I want satellite radio back. I dont care if its sirius or XM, but I dont wanna spend a lot. I have read about the xm direct kit. Can I just use this, or would I need a blitzsafe unit as well and is this my cheapest soultion?? Thanks.

You need a XM Direct tuner and a Blitzsafe SLD-01 adapter. They connect together and then connect to the CD changer connection in the trunk. If you have a CD changer or DICE and want to keep its functionality, then you need a Blitzsafe SLD-03 adapter that has an extra slave cable.

XM Direct has been out of production for quite some time, and will not tune in the upper 2XX channels. Your best bet would be the DICE Silverline DUO and Sirius combo, which is less than half the cost of a replacement Sirius receiver from BMW.
