Not really tired.
Just sorta bored of it already. I have serious issues when it comes to decision making, and I change my mind about 29 times a day. I'm thinking right now about getting an Active Autowerk tune, along with their muffler. We'll see.
I'm placing my E90 M3 ZCP order in a couple of months, so I need to keep that in mind. I don't wanna mod my car too much and keep spending money on it.

But to the people who said I would get in trouble for it, I got pulled over a couple of weeks ago, cop didn't say a word about the sound. Just warned me about my phone being used for music. I got lucky for sure.

Yeah I just need to make sure I wanna spend that much on this car.

Ideally, I wanna have my car done by Bimmerfest, which can happen if I stop being a dipshiit and make up my mind. But we'll see haha.

I've only seen one video of a ZHP with headers, but it sounded retarded and I refuse to believe that's the way all ZHPs will sound...

Thanks!

Here is my ZHP with Ebay headers, no cats, and stock exhaust. A little raspy, but I like it...

Yes, ZHP exhaust.

Stainless steel(from BimmerBrakes.com if it helps any), reason why I mentioned it is because Stainless steel , Ceramic coated and Wrapped headers will sound different, because of the outside texture, wrapped will quieten the sound a bit and stainless will give it a bit of rasp.

All Stainless steel headers(whether they cost $200 or $1700) will sound the same.

^ I'm looking for the least amount of rasp possible for my setup, actually I'm looking for a quiet mellow tone similar to stock (although the volume will obviously be a little higher). Do you think bimmerbrakes headers ceramic coated and wrapped could provide that?

I was thinking of getting BB ceramic coated ones. I'd like maybe like a little rasp, I like the sound of Len's setup

If you ceramic coat them + wrap them, then you'll get the quietest headers. It wont be as quiet as your stock exhaust, but much quieter then SS headers. Also they will be extremely efficient, because coating along with wrapping was invented to keep the heat IN as opposed to letting it out, therefore increasing efficiency and power.

Perfect, thanks for the advice. Will report back with videos when it is done. I had wrapped headers on my MX6 (silent) and still have wrapped headers on my Z (wake-the-dead-loud), both cat-less. Jegs sells a black header wrap that looks pretty good... itchy fiberglass stuff though (wear gloves!).

No nothing loose, just a bit of rasp. I might delete the resonators next, not sure yet.

Did you install headers yourself? If so, how tough was it? Good to know you like bimmerbrakes. I may go that route.
