That was my one requirement initially. I was willing to consider various colors but I wouldn't accept anything but that light tan. It's just so classy. And on the green it looks

Argh, already ordered new front springs (they aren't "bad" but they have light leaking in them... proactive maintenance )... I ordered OEM gen 2 springs from an online site.. 150 a pop not too bad. But I had heard those Arnotts were great.

What other parts would you suggest goig aftermarket with.. and what do you think of the range rover sport wheels down the road?

Today we fully rebuilt the valve block and installed version 2 arnott air springs in the front. Found a small leak in the compressor though so have to order a new gasket for that (estimated total cost, $2 dollars).

ZOMG NO! Get rid of it nao!

Srs though, mile for mile, the e46 has been more problematic for me and I'm the first owner on both.

I honestly don't remember what else to upgrade. I'm sure you already checked this site : http://rangerovers.net/newrremedies.htm , but if you haven't I'd strongly suggest it.

as for RR sport rims, I think they look aight. I'm not a huge fan of road tires or low pro's on RR's though...I guess that's just not my style.

edit: and based on your showcar style, you may be interested in the L322 headlight conversion. I like it a lot.

I work in the Hamptons NY and it's amazing how many of these older model Ranges just sit and rot in peoples driveways. These are the cars that they leave all year at their summer/weekend homes and barely every use.

Agree... I considered it and then hunted down a lot of pics with that style... just looks off to me. I like the classic old boxy styling for some reason.

I was on the range forums earlier and saw some of your threads. You should update this thread with some of the pics youve posted there.

So yesterday, installed Arnott gen 2 air springs, rebuilt the valve block, threw in LED license plate lights, and installed xenon conversion kit... comparison between xenon and halogen

Today spent a good 6 hours detailing the car. Wash (in 28 degree weather)... washed the car down in the cold, then drove into my garage to dry it off, then claybared the entire car, used nxt tech wax, and just finished putting forever black on the bumpers and back to black on the grille (forever black apparently always comes out poorly on the grilles).

Will be taking a few pics after getting the wax off

I'm trying to decide what direction to take it in. I kind of like the clean classy look of it right now. Sometimes I want to tint it, others to throw roof racks and brush guards... arghh

Yeah buddy

I did the springs and valve restore yesterday with a fellow rangie fanatic, detailed the bejeezus out of it today (will have pics in the sun tomorrow.. wash, clay, wax, forver black on bumpers, etc), put in the xenons, did the LED license plate lights, and even installed new projector headlights in my buddy's wrangler today. I'm getting better stu

These are pretty nice rims.. my tires are really worn so I'm considering tires&rims within the next few months:

I did a full detail over the weekend. Wash, clay bar, wax, forever black on bumpers and door handles, and installed a xenon kit (though one of the ballasts was faulty right off the bat so I have one halogen and one xenon lol

You can see where the forever black applicator wouldn't reach.. will get a brush to apply it back under the grille

Loving the color

Just like my 3, it's a lighter green in sunlight and much darker in clouds

guess the halogen lol

Too funny that you say this. Mine just came in the mail this weekend. I'm not certain about it now though as it's a little wider than I imagined. My goal was to put it in the cubby to the right of the clock seen here...(not my car)

But, it's so large that I will have to remove both the cubby and the clock. While pointless, I think the clock adds a nice touch of class to the interior... if I remove it, I will center the 5000.. what are your thoughts?
