Chase, I may be persuaded to part with my wheels/tires if you want to take them.

I picked up a set of 22" AC Schnitzer Type II's. They look so good on Range Rovers.

What rims do you have and how are the tires? I have been getting vibrations over 65MPH or so and think it's a result of the tires or them not being properly balanced. As much as I would like to simply pay to have them balanced and see if that resolves the problem, I would hate to drop 150 only to then find out the tires are simply bad (and the problem persist).

If your wheels/tires are in decent shape, i may definitely take them off your hands. Post pic (either of your car or similar with those wheels/tires)

best shot of the same wheels I have:

Tires are 275/40R20 and have like 70-80% tread left. They are Hankook Ventus RH06 with M+S rating. Wheels have some scratches and paint chips, but are straight and no bends. Rides silky smooth.

I still haven't fitted the AC Schnitzer's yet... working out a spacer to clear the brembos but should be ready to go in a week or so...

wow Chase you managed to find another good looking "forest" green car...now you just need to carry over that Rover pin-striping to your 3's interior!

good luck with the Range..had a friend in college with the same model -- was definitely fun to tear through campus in..also, every time an E46F thread regarding a Land/Range Rover comes up people come out of the woodwork to start throwing out ridiculous "facts" regarding its reliability -- I hope you prove that it's a great or should I say proper car.

Haha. I'll do what I can bud

They definitely are very close in color and I'm hoping things run smoothly with it. So far, we have completely overhauled the air suspension so that is taken care of and good to go. Now, want to attend to all the belts, hoses, and fluids for the engine and then will replace the front brakes (which are pretty worn).

As the parts come in, I also have a laundry list of items:

- front and side clears
- center console & glove box shocks
- xenon conversion for fog lights

After that, can consider new rims and tires

When I did the Euro Tails, I found out a lot of the bulbs that came with them are faulty. To make matters worse, the european bulbs required aren't available at any parts stores I spent about an hour going from advance auto parts to sears to pepboys... eventually got the closest bulb and then used sandpaper to shave down one of those pegs on the side. Then it fit just fine. So had two brand new turn signal bulbs and two brand new back up bulbs... only to get in the car this morning and be presented with tail light out So need two of those.

Ordered a new serpentine belt and will need new hoses and fluids. Then new brakes for up front and to fix the alarm system (there is some fault I believe being caused by a lose connection.. .or so I hope).

Like I said, lots more work but the car is so damn comfortable. After all the above, then I can start looking at new rims/tires.. will likely do that in the spring.

What do we think of the "stormer" wheels... come in all silver

Or in silver/black

Could look nice on my truck I think

^Those look right at home on your style. I'd go all silver for a cleaner look, personally.

Yeah, I'm thinking with the green, silver/black might look a little off.

Will definitely do all silver and will go with 20s. 22 would look silly I think.

Here's what it looked like after a detail... had used back to black but wasn't thrilled with the results..

Wetsand, degrease, spray can...

I still need to do the areas under the headlights though... also got the xenon situation resolved and put a new shock in my center console so when I press the button, it opens up

Curtis, when are we getting together

Argh... next question: Do I tint the rover? If so, I think 20% like the 3.

I fear the tint will make it lose a bit of the "class" but will certainly make it look meaner. 20% tint plus those stormer rims

PS: I might just have to get a vanity tag for the car... and I think KRL RVR would be hysterically funny
