I love my wagon.

23 now, was 22 when I got my first BMW, the 323iT. Bought and insured with my own hard-earned cash.

i go to a school in socal called harvard-westlake...its on coldwater canyon, i know that at least one guy in this forum attended my school. i should mention though that not all the ppl at my school have a car like i do so dont flame the school. there is one other kid in tenth grade that has an M3 but i doubt he appreciates his car as much as i do...im sure that i cant even appreciate my car as much as i should because im so young and inexperienced in driving other cars.

16-17 Used my grandfathers old '85 blazer sh1tbox 2.8L piece of crap.

17- 1978 Chevy Impala $400- Bought myself and helped pay insurance

18 - 1990 735i $7500- paid half then sold after a year and a half for $9500

19-21 - 1988 E28 M5....the best car ever. I was borrowing this one from my dad who is the greatest man who ever walked this planet

21- 2003 330ci, tryin hard to be as good as the M5 was. Its close. Im leasing it and it kicks my ass every month to write that goddam check...but I kick its ass back hard too. My pops helps me out with 1/2 insurance.

There's nothing wrong with being a young guy and driving a nice BMW. I'm pretty sure that most of you out there with kids, would love to buy your son or daughter a brand new BMW if you had money coming out through your ears. You would want to give them everything you didn't have. But at the same time you would expect your children to do well in life.

What would you rather have a kid who gets low to mediocre grades in school cuz he's working too hard at his job trying to earn enough to buy his first car OR a kid that's getting great grades at school and is trying to make something of himself, motivated by the fact you would buy him a BMW?

My parents bought me my first car and probably buy me my second. I'm in Dental school and when I'll be out practicing I'll be making between 6 and 7 digits. At which point I'll buy my parents all the cars and houses they'll need for the rest of their lives.

It's simple parents take care of you when you're young, and you take care of your parents when they get older. If my father buys me a BMW now I'll buy him a Porsche later just to say thanks. So don't flame out on young BMW drivers who had their parents pay for their cars, cuz in the end they'll pay them back one way or another.

Just my 2 cents.

lets see.. ( i always forget few cars cuz some of them, i only had it for few months, so i wont even put them here)

very first car i got was a friggin
Toyota Tercel when i was 19. after few months,
Mustang, then when i starting working and actually made some decent money at 21, got a
Lexus SC400, got sick of it soon and got a used
BMW 850 but didnt keep it long cuz it was high maintanence so got a
Lexus GS300 which got stolen and stripped to the bone, so got a
IS300 which i got sick of after 2 years and got my
330 and Z4 when i was 25.
i'm already thinking of what car i should get next (hehe, i get sick of my cars after about 6 months )
