16 - 88 Honda Prelude
16 - 99 Honda Civic Si (Hand me down, then stolen)
18 - RSX Type-S (Accident)
19 - BMW 03 325i (Insurance Payed for the new car)

Insurance is cheaper on this than my RSX-S because they say it's not a sports car. It's also the fact that the RSX replaced the Integra which was stolen the most, so in essence, it's a new integra.

Daddy gave me mine. I am 24 now and own my own business www.qualitymobilevideo.com and can't possiblely afford a new one even though I live at home. To all of you young kids who say "they did well in school or studied for a couple of months", I have news for you, the world doesn't consider hardwork a couple of months worth. I come from a well off family that can afford it but, forced me to learn the value of the money well before the reward of it. I worked my ass off in school and at work. I wish I had an M3 when I was 16-18 but that is fu*king outrageous that these kids say they worked for it. Sure I wouldn't turn one down if given to me, but to sit here and say you earned for getting good grades or Sat score is BS. Wake up and see the real world cause I know I did. When 40-60 year olds come up to you and ask how do they earn such a privledge, I have nothing to say other than I am really fortunate. I don't try to tell them I earned it for getting good grades. It takes years to earn something this nice.

I totally agree with you silver4dracs. I remember in AP lit last year this girl got a new 330i and her friends were saying "but you deserve it." I stood there shocked for a second, then remembered that I live in Orange County. I casually said that no one deserves any car, especially a car like that, if they didn't actually earn the money to buy it. I got the strangest looks from people in my class as though what I just said was blasphemy.

Why do people think that they deserve everything that they get? Until you start working for your money you don't deserve a damn thing. Until then, you're just lucky that you have what you have.

By the way, in response to ChrisW

"IF your parents tossed you the keys to a new BMW..what would you do....toss them back?..DIDN'T THINK SO!!!"

I did exactly that...

sachingulaya what you did makes me respect you that much more. I wasn't able to resiste the temptation and took the keys. Its nice to see another level headed individual who understands the neccesary hardwork for this reward.

Im not trying to flame anyone but I think people need to recognize we are fortunate individuals who have been mostly given these amazing cars. And to those who have worked for it, I will be like you one day cause I'm trying to earn the next one. There is no greater satisfation then to say you did it yourself.

im 18 and my parents bought me mine. If your parents have a lot of money, their not going to buy you a beat up honda. Besides, my family is all about BMW and i really didn't have any say in the car i got. (i didn't complain either )
