17 -- E46 M3- parents (sorry guys). But im in the same boat as ///M3matt (with the super-modded LSB M3), i have to do well in school and my dad got it for me as a reward. His policy, "if you do good now, you will go to a good college and have a good college and then you can buy your own BMW" But im appreciative and work hard to keep my dad happy.

I pay for Mods though

16- but we (e46 fanatics) or at least most of us have been through this argument about kids getting bmw's. lets not get into it again everyone agree???

My1stM3- you are like me, i pay of my mods and it was the same type of deal with my parents, but they didnt want me in a crazy fast car like an M3- nice color choice

My Ride: 2002 330cic Black
Lol. I'm the old one I think. Just bought one at 32 years of age. 330cic. My wife and I live in Northern California and gross around 200k a year in salary, not counting investments. Have a crappy 1600 sq ft home in Marin that costs around 750k-800k (the housing prices here are outrageous). With that, we still only bought a used 330cic. Although, we paid cash.

Money just doesn't go very far now adays.

My Ride: 2002 Silver 330Ci
17 Now...
16-19 - 330Ci (handed to me by my parents for good grades)
19-2-....- Who knows...probably another hand-off from my parents
2- & on...After Grad school...and a little step-off from my parents...I will have my own cars.
Planned cars for my garage:
1999 Red on Black Ferrari 355 GTS
2001 MB CL600 (My dad currently has this...)
Equivialent of a new M3
I will have these cars...don't worry, but until then, the keys will have to be handed to me by my parents.
Also...why are all of you so against having cars given to kids from their parents. If your my age and worked for your car, damn, I have a lot of respect for you. But if you didn't pay for it...why are you bagged on so much? I get good grades and I'm a good kid, does that mean much? I just don't understand the concept of bagging on kids (yes, I'm still a kid...I'm only 17) that get cars from their parents. What do you expect me/us to do...say no mom, no dad, don't get me the brand new 330Ci...I want an 82 Corolla with a faded hood and the T, O, T, and A gone from TOYOTA (YO)...

Holy Crap i am never moving to Cali. Two new houses went up in my bro's subdivision, both around a million and both over 10,000 square feet and on a lake. I am never leaving Illinois. Hell, the weather may suck, but i will have all my money to keep me warm.
