That's me. I was hoping to meet some folks but the weather was so lousy we were all hiding under umbrellas. Wheels are 17" Bremmer Kraft BR05s from the Tire Rack. I've only had them on for about a month but I'm really happy with them. Looking to make some friends handy with a wrench to teach me some DIYs like flushing coolant and brakes.

Hi, Jim

I was checking out your car too when I parked next to it. Nice wheels and verts ftw.

The rain was a b!tch for socializing, but added a little excitment to the drives. I managed to take the Z4 out on the skid pad. My "rider" said he didn't care.

and the 335is

I rode in the E36 M track car and yeah, I think I'll be getting that instead of an E46 M. That car was a hoot lol.

My favorite by far was the 135i with the 335is being second. The 135i just felt tight as a drum.

Was it me, or is the rear seat area on these newer cars even smaller?

Compared to my vert? The rear legroom was a'ight. I'm sure the 135 is tight back there, I didn't notice. My daughter rode in the back of the 335is and it looked a little roomier than the vert. The 550GT had crazy legroom. We looked like Hannah Montana had hired Billy Ray Cyrus to drive the limo. I'd need a wig for the full effect.

Seriously, that 550 was fun to drive. I don't know why more people didn't try it. 400hp turbo'd V8. I wanted to try the diesel X5 too, but didn't have time.

The 550 was pretty good. I was really impressed with the handling of such a large car. Honestly, I didn't like the steering wheel. That non-sport wheel looked horrid lol.

I bet the M-Sport 550 is probably awesome in the corners. I really wanted to drive the X3 with the turbo 3.0L; however, Heather was getting cold and I started talking about getting a track car with some of the guys.

I had good time too, it was nice meeting you and your wife bimmerferret. I actually think the rain made it kind of fun, although it definitely would have been better dry, it really shows how well engineered those cars are. The 1-series was the best by far followed by the 335 and the 550. I wasn't really that impressed by the Z, it just seemed to be missing something. I had a few pics of the 2 verts, bimmerferrets, and my car but I had a drops of water on my lens so you cant even see anything

Hey guys,

Anyone free Thursday night? Roosters on Preston highway has $5 pitchers (I'm not talking about the sissy tiny ones either), if you all want to get together and partake in a few beverages and wings.
