OEM HID to DDMtuning?

I've just about had it with my OEM xenons. I did a search on the forum and found this thread.
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...ftermarket+hid
But it looked as if it was unresolved. I replaced the xenon ballasts and ignitors 6 months ago and now the lights are out again. I am not in the financial situation where I can afford to buy brand new OEM parts and I'm not willing to go the ebay or used parts route again. I also probably should get new headlight housing anyways as the clip that holds the corner light is broken.
Anyone have experience with the ddmtuning HID kit?
This is what I am looking at. -> http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/E4...-Eyes-Included

Question is: Do I need a reflash of my LCM? The price also seems ridiculously cheap for headlight housing and ballasts and bulbs....am I reading it right?

The price is right because they're cheap, poor quality lights. It is a DOWNGRADE compared to your OEM projectors.

What is wrong with your lights? Have you tried replacing your bulbs?

Yeah i've tried replacing the bulbs and it's not a bulb problem. The problem is that my passenger headlight is not turning on anymore. I replaced the ballast for it a couple months ago due to the flickering problem. I really want to just solve it once and for all and not have to think if my headlights will work tonight or not. I want to go aftermarket so I get all brand new parts and also I need new headlight housing too because of the broken clip.

Have you gotten the car properly diagnosed? Are you absolutely positive that it is a problem with the ballast/ignitor and not a problem with your car's wiring harness?

no I have not. It could very well be. I've noticed that the gap between my headlight and the bumper on the passenger headlight is a lot bigger than the driver's and also it rained like hell over here in Socal the past month. My light went out right after the storm started.

You could have any number of issues. Youo could have gotten water / moisture in the igniter or the ballast. You could have moisture in the connector. You could have a loose connector or wires starting to break. Everything needs to be inspected before just deciding I'm gonna replace everything with cheaper components. (downgrade)

Would a mechanic be able to do this?
