Bleed the X5 Coolant System Same As E46 Process????

Hi guys, I have a friend with X5 that needs my help to bleed the X5 coolant system. Can I do the same process as our beloved E46?

yes you can bleed tha same way but its abit cumbersum

i have an x5 e53 diesel 3.0 it just lost the check engine light and refused to start the glowplug sighn also doesnt come on on diagnosis it says no communication with tha egs .but the engine cranks okay and also indicates faulty cnnection on 5a ,all fuses are okay could someone help
