Blue 330Ci - where will it take me?

I bought this car a month ago in pretty much an original shape. No mods except for black grill and black window film. Here's what it looked like with the film already removed:

First thing I did to the car was putting new coilovers on it. I went with AP as they still offer some comfort and are made by KW in Germany. Pretty nice quality. I also replaced brake discs, pads, some suspension bushings and such and put 30mm spacers at the rear and 25mm in the front:

Once installed I decided to drive her for a couple of days before adjusting the final height:

I couldn't stand the black kidneys so I replaced them with standard chrome ones:

Car was in a pretty good shape and most of all accident free. I decided to give it some shine and put some Meguiars on it. That also gave me a chance to look at the car in detail. I found some minor dents and skretches plus there was some rust on a number of body panels. I cleaned the interior, repaired and painted console as it was scratched and detailed the engine bay:

I was not satisfied with the results and that led me to do that:

My bumper was damaged and I had to replace it anyway so I bought an aero bumper:

And went on to strip the car more and prepare it for full paint job:

All that leads me to today's progress:

So here's the story so far. I hope you enjoy it - I sure do and hope to make it a cool car one day. In general my idea of this car is to make it look like on the sketch below:

I hope to update as I go on with the project. Cheers!

Loving that color. Reminds me of the Avus Blue M5 I once had.

Wow! Love that color. Did you paint it or did you get it painted somewhere? How much did it cost?

Well, yeah it's been repainted same color - Topasblau. I run a paint shop what makes things easier (and cheaper). I just finished putting it back together. Next stop - full rear underbody restoration. We will pull everything out of the car and replace/clean anything that's not perfect. I'd like this car to look and feel brand new. It already smells like new
Also I just put on an Alpina rear ducktail to keep body proportions in check after adding the aero bumper. It's been painted two-tone with addition of Ferrari 458 paint (that's a color code, not name of the car model). Rear bumper insert has also been painted that color. Pictures will be added soon.

Edit - one pic from my phone:

Thanks guys! Car is being worked on right now so no chance to clean it let alone make decent pictures. Here's some nasty phone pics of the front and rear. I hope to have it on the road this week.

I had to come up with some mesh to finish the bumper and decided to use an insert from Honda Civic FN bumper modified to fit the center hole. It looks more OEM than the aluminum mesh BMW used to finish it originally.
Also had to modify the fog light brackets and refurbish the foglight inserts.
While at it we also repaired the PDC as it didn't work before. All good now. I'm super happy with the Alpina duck tail too

Thank you all. I always do that when I swap cars - I promise myself not to fiddle with it and just drive the stock car. Than I start to browse pics, read articles and end up with a clear vision of what the car should (in my mind) be. I end up with a car that I'm not comfortable with, like - "damn no parking space I might get a dent, screw that I will not visit friends/ go work out / eat /etc." It's just pathetic
I had to change ball bearings and pretty much all the pulleys at the rear axle. Plus one of the winter tires has cracked for some reason which is a shame as it's almost brand new (like 2k km new). Had to replace it.

Some pics after finally cleaning up the car and fixing suspension geometry (last 2 pics). Winter mode - on.

Blue 330Ci - where will it take me?

I have a Topaz 330ci that I was debating getting rid of.

Safe to say your thread has made me want to reconsider. So clean!
