Ignition coil part stuck inside

I was trying to do a coil swap to diagnose an ignition error in cylinder 2.

When I pulled out the coil, the metal outer part that surrounds it was stuck inside.

Is there a way to get it out? I tried with pliers but it would not budge... I am afraid it bonded to the cylinder head

Here's a pic that shows the part:

The metal sleeve surrounding the coil? I imagine with moderately-sized, long-reach needle nose pliers.

And I don't know how you got that to come off.

Yeah that part. I bought the car like that, haven't driven it that much. Tried ir with pliers and the whole car mover without the thing moving a tiny bit. I think I'm screwed

get a long screwdriver (wrap a few inches in tape) and pry it out gently.

It's not just sitting there....it's really, really, really stuck there... I am able to reach it with pliers comfortably and it would not move one millimeter. You can see from the picture where it's a little bent from trying to pull it upwards.

Lot's of PB Blaster? I guess I'd try to get 2 locking needle nose pliers on opposite sides of it and try to attach a long pry bar to them. Then try to lift evenly
