Help w/ replacing rear pillar lights

So i got the interior LED kit and i've installed every one except the rear pillar. I can't seem to figure out how the heck it comes out.. I figured pry one side then get the other (guessed it was held in by clips?) but it won't budge, eventually the plastic cover over the light started to come off instead so i stopped and tried the other side which just won't even move.. So how exactly do i get access to these lights?

Tried searching the forum and just found someone that said to pry it but holy f*** it's in there im afraid its gonna break...

If coupes an sedans are the same you were doing it correctly. Push a small flathead, a little past the outer clear area an it should pop out from the bottom side first, an the bulb removes from the back.

Yeah, did my lights the other month. Rear was a definite PITA. Try to find pics of what the housing looks like so you know where it's clipped at.

Don't pry it out you'll break it. Pull from the top of the whole pillar cover they come out REAL EASY then you just push the two copper looking clips and the light comes right out from the back. Prying it will break it, it only has clips on one side and plastic legs on the other

As mentioned there are two (?) clips holding it in. If you can get it started you can see the clips, just give a little push on them with the flathead.

Here's a link to a full DIY.

BTW, this is not my DIY, those are not my fingers, and those are not my lights.
