I've got on order 0805 with 2700mcd and 1206 with 800-1000mcd.

Currently use PLCC-2 with 2000-2500mcd.

On my steering wheel I've got the 1206 with 150-200mcd but the light is quite dim, going to replace them with the 800-1000mcd ones to see if it gives anymore improvement...

Good job, although I'm not a huge fan of all that extra interior lighting (footwell, kick panels, under the trim, etc.). That would be waaaaaay too distracting.

Most of it only comes on when doors are opened so it's not that bad

A Month+ Later and I still haven't received the LEDs from this site.

I'm ready to start this damn project!!!!

Maybe the LEDs got stopped at customs? Weirder things have been stopped.

Also, I've been buying my LEDs off of ebay from Chinese/Hong Kong sellers. They usually get to my mailbox in 2 weeks.

Just sayin...

Soo I just wrote my 2nd email to led-depot.co.uk expressing my frustration as to why I haven't received my LEDs a Month and 3 weeks later. Well He/she didn't respond to my email just like last time but immediately refunded me my money as I requested.

Now I'm in a little dilemma. I still want to do this mod. Does anyone know where I can order the same LED's I need for this project? Superbrightled's maybe? Idk.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds. I'm trying to order these asap!!! Seeing how I was trying to do this mod almost 2 months ago!!!

I've had really good luck with ebay...

My new, brighter 0805 LEDs just arrived today. Ordered on 3/15, arrived 3/31. Delivery time is 2 weeks.

You mind showing us a quick youtube video of your LEDS at work?

Looks cool but the pictures doesn't do it justice.

Phyuck. I shorted something inside the radio while redoing the LEDs with the [MUCH] brighter LEDs that just came in today. So, now when the radio is plugged back in to the car, all of the interior lights turn on at a dim setting. When I turn the parking lights on, everything gets a little brighter...

Gotta find me another radio. Maybe I'll just go aftermarket

Great job man. Those lights are pure seexxxx!!!

I love your patience and ambition to be different from the pack.

Do you mind giving us the site where you ordered those lights and how many of each you needed to do this. (Links to each light you needed please)

I too, am tired of the conventional orange/red lights. You inspired me to try this project out.
