Angry Anyone else have problems fitting LED license plate lights from Bimmian?

Had some old weak license plate lights that were starting to fail, so I ordered a new set from Bimmian that contain both the LEDs and a new lens. Weisslicht is the brand. I would have thought something so simple would just plug in, but these things don't fit at all. I've had to dremel away a bunch of material to match them to the old lenses, which helped, but they still don't quite fit. It looks like the metal housing on the back of the bulbs is too big to fit in the space available. They also don't line up very well with the metal tabs that held the original bulbs. They came marked left/right, but I've tried every orientation on both sides of the car to be sure and they still don't go in. I can't believe I could screw up something that should be really simple. I have an '04 coupe and I ordered a set that was specifically for 04-06 coupes. How do I get these things in???

Angry

After I posted I looked at the box and they shipped the wrong part. It's marked for 99-03 (I have the paperwork that shows I ordered the right ones). Hopefully the vendor will make it right even though I dremeled the ones they sent.
