I have everything BLACK out now. My tail light are now eye sore. I don't want to get cheap tint film on ebay. I read up on their feed back and they were all BAD. City sticker has them for $40. A new tinted tail lights is about $70

so i also have a black car and instead of debadging, id rather black it out with plasti dip. Do you tnink its necessary to remove the badge and plastidip them off the car? I think this would be a better idea, but i dont know how to reapply them....

Plasti Dip are so forgiving when apply; is hard to mess up. Unless, you tried to cover the wheel all in one spray.

By covering the entire wheel with just one coat, it will cause runs / dripping effect. DON'T DO IT. Is a waste of Plasti Dip.

I've added other Forums from 'Infinite G35'; someone did paint over their black plasti dip; using plasti dip as a primer base.

By using plasti dip as a base and cover it with something else, is hard to screw up whatever you tries to do.

How about the black wheel with a silver rim? (like bullitt's mustang or 70's porsches). Can you do that with plasti-dip, or would it peel off? cheers.
