E46 OEM Business radio trouble

I currently have a 2001 e46 with a business class unit with the 6 cd changer in the trunk. I got in the car today and went to put my radio on and the controls on the face of the unit were not being responsive. Only the steering controls were working to control the radio. I turned the radio off to see if that would do the trick but it didn't. Now the radio is off and i can turn it on but there is no sound that comes out, whether using the steering controls, or the ones on the unit itself. Driving with out a radio is one of the most boring things I've ever had to experience lol

....Anyone ever have this problem before????

Pull the battery, drink a brew, reconnect.
