im bringing this back from the dead because im having a similar problem....

if i turn the car on with my wheel straight or turned right, my passenger side xenon will turn on. once i make a left turn, it goes out. ive replaced the entire headlight unit as well as the ballast and neither fixed the problem.

judging by the corrosion in the picture of the alc box, i can assume thats the problem with mine. the bumper guards got ripped out on a parking block and im guessing water splashed in the headlight unit and screwed something up.

now.... if i turn the car on so the headlight is straight and the light comes on, and then i remove the alc box this should prevent the light from being able to move correct? and theoretically because the lamp wont turn, it wont shut off?

so i removed the alc box and the little green light on the A position of the light switch was blinking and the headlight wouldnt turn on at all so that didnt work.... no corrosion on either part and none inside the headlight assembly or on the harness.

i put my original ballast and alc box on and it still only turns on when i have the wheel turned to the right. is this maybe a sensor issue?
