front end clunk
for a couple of days i been feeling a front end clunk when braking thought it was the lcab the usual suspect...
today i jacked up the car i take a look around and the bushings look fine, i check the tie-rods they look good, so i take a look at the control arms and the driver side balljoint is shot i mean its out of the control arm i bought the parts from deutschepartsusa off ebay i guess you get what you pay for ![]() i also bought some stabilizer links from the same seller those also broke... the freaking weather doesn't help making pot holes the size of a tire. feeling like i need a truck |

I had some creaking(pirate ship creak) last week and couldn't find where it was coming from. I bought some silicone spray lube(not penetrating spray) and sprayed the usual suspects testing each time. The sound went away after I sprayed my shock mount.
I have huge brutal speed humps in my neighborhood its its killing my suspension. Last edited by MrWesson; 02-05-2011 at 08:55 AM. |
