ajv85483 Registered User Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 186 My Ride: E46 323ci Steelgray View My Garage	Take a look at my driver side axle Alright so my car is getting some paint, suspension, and new wheels. The tech at the shop calls me and tells me I need to replace the axle ASAP. He quotes me at $400 to replace and install this. He sends me this pic. and asks what I want to do. I've been doing a bit of searching and calling around, and they're telling me that it might just be the boot that needs replacing not the entire axle. I wasnt able to send them a picture but hopefully some guys here on the forums can help me out a little. Here's the pic:
