I'm a big fan of Hartmann. I've had the same carryon bag for over 10 years and have flown with it for at least once a month the past couple years. It's still in good shape and looking good.

If you want a sturdy luggage, get a Rimowa.

For a very frequent traveller, I use Tumi. By frequent I mean at least a trip or two (typically overnight) per week.

The only inclines I encounter are bridges, and we go over that pretty quickly. It's not really an issue.

The spinners just removes all the weight from your hand. I glide 2x 50lb around the airport effortlessly, it's awesome.
