Just stock CSl wheel offsets. No rubbing. I think I'm somewhere about 70% firm on the PSS9 settings. Nothing very low on the spring settings.

That's funny, I am still up in the air whether I like the clears over the smoked fronts.

I appreciate the kind words. Yes I love to work on these E46s. Been a little over a year so I guess a lot has been done.

Well on Monday had it's first dyno run at EAS on it's Dyno Day. Wish I had done it prior to all the engine mods for a baseline but better it's done now than never. Had about an hour notice that I was going to do it. Night before I had filled her up with basic gas and not even a higher octane gas, pretty sure that alone would have raised the numbers over 300whp.
But waiting for another member to send me some jpegs to post of the dyno pulls. But these are the numbers.
EAS Dynojet
MAX POWER: 299.08
MAX TORQUE: 249.53

the other two runs were:
WHP 297.92 / TQ 245.23
WHP 297.46 / TQ 245.13

so that's pretty consistant numbers. considering stock M3s range around 265-270 whp i'm pleased so far with my NA and completely street and CA smog legal M3.
*Notice new Supersprint muffler tips, I like them better than the Y tips of the RE. Although not as aggressive sounding as the RE I had fitted.

Nice! What engine mods do you have again other than the exhaust Alex? What else do you plan on doing? (there's an OEM CSL Airbox up for sale on the forums )

Thanks
I have a high flow BMC air panel filter, Bimmerworld intake elbow, AA custom Sport tune, AA Power Pullies and Supersprint muffler. But add this to my BMW Motorsport 4.10 LSD and less rocking of engine with the BMW Motorsport Group-N motor mounts it really feels great. The AA Sport tune for my mods really made a difference.

Yes I've been looking into an oem CSL intake. They are coming up for sale more frequently as the replica market is coming out with a few and I think owners forsee the prices will drop because of this. We shall see....

Hey thanks, yep it is getting to be a few pages now. Honestly I'd rather not try and calculate what this costs as it might give me sticker shock. But on parts that don't wear and tear it's best to go used and save big. Me I go OEM and that costs more. But if on a budget one can still do a lot for under $25K with either replica or used parts.

i know what you mean, i posted the same thing about it. wish it were about 1.5"s shorter in front, may still have a friend shorten. but since i was going to go CSL splitters i liked how this blended better than other options like ACS, Strass, Hamann and the sort. besides, always had in mind a true real Carbon Fiber roof to complete the look. i hope to source a genuine CSL roof by summer and fit it.

2-19-12 LED License Plate Lamp

Ok, since the rear backup camera has it's own LED light for the license plate it was always bugging me the color was off from the other lamp. I had hoped it would match better(close but shade is off) so I went with the E9x LED LP lamps that are identical to the CSL trunk LP lamp size and shape but LED. Here it is. If you go this route you will need the connector too (and maybe two wires).

Also being picky and seeing someone else having done similar I went ahead and bought the CSL tire pressure label from BMW. Seeing how I have OEM CSL wheels I just got this to be up to specs. Although these labels are pricey for a sticker

I might have someone that can get you oem csl roof but it will cost alot. I went with a vcsl roof for less than half the money and it looks awesome. Just make sure which ever one you get make sure it gets clear coated. My roof has 4 coats of glasurit clear, my roof is also 1 of 2 that I know of, where oem style clips where made and attached to the roof before the carbon fiber roof was attached. Which means the roof rails attach and come off like oem instead of just glueing them down. But keep up the good work
