rear tires were completely worn down. which was very odd because they still had some great grip in cornering recently in the canyon. yes those are the tread nylons showing through. not my greatest moment not seeing this before.

anyhow. bought some Michelin Super Sports and notice my Traction control flickers on a lot more in fast turns.

For those who been asking me about the UUC poly rcab..they are still squeak free and feel nice and tight without squirm.
GruppeM intake still seems to be working out very well with no heatsoak issue like others.
Michelin Super Sports have been great on the sunny socal roads.

love your car, great talking with you the other day, and cant wait for updates. i want to start a build thread for my car but i didnt take pictures of all the things ive done to it

i really wanna get those bimmerworld motor mounts when funds allow after my new wheel set up gets here

I noticed similar when I put Super Sports on my car.

How are the CSL wheels holding up? Are you on a stock suspension? Do the fronts stick out more? Nice job!

the CSLs are holding up fine. these are oem and made by BBS Germany and spun forged, so they're strong. also the paint is powder coated on so they're not scratching and chipping like cheap ones.

no i have a post back midway where i went with the Bilstein PSS-9 coilovers.

Front's stick out a little more but nothing strange by any means. hard to even tell and no fitment issues.

thank you very much, appreciate the kind words and that you read though all the pages. i need to update the thread with a few new additions recently.
not sure about Eisenmann, went with Supersprint as i have liked their quality and performance in past systems i've owned. my intent is to keep it from droning and the Supersprint is great at some gains while keeping cabin drone down in their "Street-Sport" version. now their "Race" version is another story, very loud.

OK latest upgrade is the F10 M5 lighted, weighted stubby shift knob and boot. The wire plugs directly into the factory wiring for the lighted M3 knob but this one is the stubby and weighted knob (like the 330zhp got later). it also comes with a new leather boot that has two forward stitching lines in the boot that match the stitching lines of the knob. the M3 had a four line stitching in the shift boot and was one piece, tall "gooseneck" and not weighted. I think this will be a very common mod in future for many E46s and more so the M3 people.
Anyway, here she is. Just have to remove the boot cage and replace with an E46 boot cage as the F10 is more symmetrical.
