If you don't mind driving up to OC (Huntington Beach), I'll reset your light (free).

I have the same issue, my mechanic tried resetting it and for some reason it wouldn't. Doesn't bug me too much but it would be nice though.

Buy me lunch...no need, homie. Just come on down and I'll reset for free, no sweat.

Edit: Well, if you're being generous, I would not mind a pint of Fuller's ESB (can get it at Trader Joe's)!

Well, if you have a hard fault, which is to say you have something wrong with your SRS system (airbag faulty, faulty anything in the SRS system), then the light will not reset until the issue is fixed.

Last week I fixed the driver window on my car and I was stupid enough to disconnect the side airbag and now the airbag light stays on Can you reset my light too, please?

Drive down to a junk yard and have them reset it.

my airbag light came on recently, about a week after getting my car back from my bodyshop

can the reset tool verify if there is actually an issue? I'd rather not have to take my car to a mechanic

this has really been bugging me for the past few weeks

Reset Tool

I also bought the Peake reset tool, but not for the airbag. Am up in the Miramesa area, pm me if you need a reset, will do for free. This way I can meet my fellow fanatics and exchange notes about the car.

Yes the SRS/airbag Peake works like the FCX Peake -- First it displays any fault codes and then it lets you delete them if you want.

Thanks for the info! So if there is nothing wrong then it wont display any fault codes and I can just reset the light?

GRIDLOCK are you still around?
