Thanks...it's awesome..I'm a huge fan of the geissele rail too. The first time I took it to the range it didn't fire right, geissele sent out a bad trigger spring with my SSA...my buddy had a spare so we replaced it and it runs perfect now, can't wait to take it out and zero her in.

Actually somewhat curious if that's what has been happening with my SSF. That being said, I haven't shot an AR since I went out with you guys Adam so testing it would be unlikely

Almost have all the parts for another build, I've always wanted a noveske infidel upper so I'm building a replica using a rainier arms match barrel

Noveske/seekins forged lower haven't decided which I'll use
Badass safety
Gunfighter grip
Probably snag a geissele trigger
Magpul ubr
Cmt m4 upper
Joe bob enhanced bcg
Raptor ch
Rainier arms 13.7 match barrel
Noveske flaming pig pinned
Fortis rev 12 rail
Troy buis
tangodown stubby qd grip
I'll probably eventually grab a 1-4x scope for her
Should be a fun shooter

Oo yeah and cerakoted all FDE

Adam, are you familiar with the Geissele Super TRICON trigger? It's a hybrid SSA/SD-C trigger. $235
I'm considering putting this on my 11.5" and moving my SD-C to my 16" lightweight.
Might be something you'd be interested in for your build.

That seems very interesting...might have to give that a whirl. I don't have a ton of range time with the ssa yet, but the couple times I have gone I really like the trigger. I think I prefer the ssa over my s3g. The tricon seems like it would be an excellent combo. Might have to order that soon. I keep saying I'll throw a cheaper trigger in a build like the alt act or qms, then I feel the geissele trigger on one of my guns and I feel the trigger on my 15-22 and new frontier pistol lower and don't think I can go back ha.

Wow, she did a great job. Question: does the foam try to come out of the case when you pull the weapon out? I've been having that problem with the Pelican case for my AR. Maybe I cut the foam too close?

I have the QMS on my 16" lightweight, and I'm just like you where I just want more Geissele. Their triggers are just that good. I'm going to get the Super TRICON, but it just depends on what it will go. I am still trying to get an SR-25, and I would likely replace the KAC 2-stage with the Super TRICON.

Im a freaking newb with guns/shooting. I have a LOT to learn and training to do.. But I still agree with the bold. Their stuff is just flat out great. I was skeptical at first if I Would be able to tell the difference between a $30-50 trigger and a $200 trigger and you can. The geissele triggers are just so smooth and effortless.

A co-worker just offered me a S&W M&P15 flattop with red dot scope. Less than 300rds and is asking $1250.

Any thoughts on this? It would be a different setup then what I have currently (fixed handle upper).

I have a SW and its great quality. The price depends on the red dot. How much is it worth. The rifle is prob worth 900-1000 (normally) alone but could vary depending on the model. You should verify the model of the rifle and sight.
The mp sport model was going for around 700 pre-panic.

Anybody have a dd lite rail? How do you like it if so? I'm working out a straight up trade right now for a vltor mur-1s(no forward assist) for a never fielded but mounted dd 12" lite rail with wrench. Seems like a no brainier trade for me $190 upper vs $330 rail.

My LGS south of you had the M&P15 flat top @ $1250 new, but no red dot.

They've been getting in Del-ton AR-15's in quite regularly $ under $1000 ( $900 and some dollars)

I have the 11.0 on my 11.5" SBR. It's a phenomenal rail. Solid as a rock, no movement what so ever. Short of getting a great deal on a KAC URX3, I will only use DD rails for my future builds.

I really really want a KAC URX3 rail too. That thing is pure sex IMO. Have you looked at the new Fortis 12" Rev Rails? They have a similar profile to the URX3 but have the keymod system on the sides in the middle. They are super light and feel very nice. I just got one the other day and am going to throw it on my next build. The price is spectacular too.. I had a buddy order it for me and dealer pricing was $150.
