how are the transmissions on these cars? are there random codes that will throw off a transmission light?

Codes are rarely, if ever, random. I would get them read and make sure there's nothing severely wrong ASAP.

gear 5 ratio came up but now the light is gone and they didnt clear it, but the reason i was asking if any others trigger another is by a code came up "engine running lean"
